Weekly meetup for ladies, a nurturing space to learn and grow as individuals. This is a supportive, nurturing network, empowering health and wellbeing discussion:
- Mental health topics that help break stigma and barriers within the community
- Monthly art and craft workshops aiding as therapy and a start point to important discussions
- Opportunity for community engagement for our disadvantaged and isolated women in the community.
Our weekly get together helps us to support/grow each other and the community at large.
Afyah Covid- 19 Mutual Aid Group:
Our BAME communities have been greatly affected by the recent covid-19 pandemic. Our women have lost basic livelihood and our support system put under great test.
We are focused on identifying the most in need in our communities and assisting to elevate their current situations.
All our upcoming events have been postponed to a future date as precautionary measures to safeguard our communities. We are committed to supporting our communities through this difficult phase and recovery stage in later months.
